HANOI, March 22 (Xinhua) -- The Chinese Taipei soccer team was forced to a draw by host Vietnam national soccer team in a friendly match held at capital Hanoi's Hang Day stadium on Wednesday.
Vietnam put constant pressure on the visiting side right from the start, forcing the guest to play on defense in the first half but failed to score any goal.
Only in the 84th minute did Chinese Taipei's Tseng Chin-Wei opened scoring. Four minutes later, Vietnam managed to level the score with the goal by Nguyen Cong Phuong.
This friendly served as a warm-up for the last 2019 Asian Cup qualification round next week. Enditem
