SARAJEVO, March 14 (Xinhua) -- A latest survey has indicated that 68.2 percent of people in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) regretted the collapse of Yugoslavia, local media reported on Tuesday.

The survey was conducted by Croatian polling agency IPSOS, and was led by Vjeran Pavlakovic, a historian who led a team investigating nation-building processes in the Western Balkans.

Serbian citizens were the most Yugo-nostalgic, with 70.9 percent regretting the fact that Yugoslavia no longer exists, while the number was 18 percent in Croatia, according to the survey.

"I think that this relationship towards Yugoslavia is more a reflection of present-day problems rather than a result of Yugoslavism as an ideology," said Pavlakovic.
