VALLETTA, March 9 (Xinhua) -- A 3D hologram is one possible option being considered following the collapse of Gozo's iconic tourist attraction Azure Window, the Maltese government announced on Thursday .
The Azure Window collapsed Wednesday during a heavy storm that hit the Maltese islands.
The government said it would consider whether to leave the site as is, recuperate the rock piece and exhibit it, create an augmented reality projection or have an artistic installation at the site.
The projection would involve an augmented 3D structure creating a hologram of the Azure Window.
The natural limestone arch near Dwejra Bay in Gozo was a popular tourist attraction made famous around the world. It featured in several films as well as the popular TV series Game of Thrones. Enditem
