NEW DELHI, March 2 (Xinhua) -- India Thursday condemned the twin terror attacks in Afghan capital Kabul, in which nearly two dozen people were killed, and vowed to bring the perpetrators to justice.
"India has been a victim of terrorist violence and understands the pain and suffering of the people of Afghanistan. We reiterate our resolve to work with Afghanistan to bring the perpetrators of terrorist violence to the justice," Indian External Affairs Ministry said.
The Ministry also conveyed condolences to the people and the government of Afghanistan for the loss of lives and property in Wednesday's blasts. "It is our sincere hope that the injured will make early recovery," it added.
The twin attacks took place in Kabul Wednesday. First, a suicide bomber detonated an explosives-laden vehicle next to a police station and then outside the offices of the Afghan intelligence service in eastern part of the city.
The Taliban has claimed responsibility for the latest attack that came a month after a suicide bomber killed nearly 20 people outside the Supreme Court in Kabul.
