YEREVAN, March 1 (Xinhua) -- The National Cinema Center of Armenia will receive four mobile movie theaters from China, the Armenian Culture Ministry said Wednesday.
The mobile cinemas will be used in a nationwide project called "Cultural Stop."
The Armenian film industry was once booming during the Soviet times. Since the country's independence in 1991, this sector has been struggling and a number of new films have been made only recently amid a surge in the popularity of modern films in Armenia.
