TEHRAN, Feb. 4 (Xinhua) -- Malaysian Minister of Agriculture and Agro-Based Industry will arrive in Iran on Sunday to discuss bilateral ties, semi-official Fars News Agency reported on Saturday.
Heading a 25-member delegation, minister Mah Siew Keong will meet his Iranian counterpart to discuss mutual cooperation in the field of agriculture.
During his two-day stay in Tehran, Mah will also meet Iranian trade minister and head of the Iranian Parliament's Health Committee.
Iranian President Hassan Rouhani visited Kuala Lumpur in October 2016 when he urged stronger economic transactions with Malaysia.
The two governments support investment and economic activities at home, said Rouhani, adding that private sectors should become aware of capacities in both countries and use them to deepen ties.
