SINGAPORE, Jan. 31 (Xinhua) -- Singapore's Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) on Tuesday warned public to be cautious about fake ICA website phishing for visitors' visa application numbers and passport numbers.

ICA advised members of the public to use only the official ICA website at www.ica.gov.sg for all informational and transactional needs concerning ICA matters.

The authority said that it takes serious view of such fake websites as they undermine public trust. It will work to monitor and bring down the website.

"Access to the official ICA website remains unaffected and no data has been compromised," added ICA.
