SYDNEY, Jan. 23 (Xinhua) -- A man in his 20s has reportedly been shot dead at 2:00 p.m. local time Monday near the set of Pacific Rim, a Hollywood blockbuster being filmed in Brisbane.
It is believed the man was filming a music video unrelated to the film, when he was shot in the chest.
Police were called to a "workplace accident" at the Brooklyn Standard, in Eagle Lane precinct, which has been closed off for the past two weeks for filming.
Investigators believe the man was an actor involved in a band's music video, it is unknown if he was a member of the band.
Police have not confirmed details of the alleged band or of the shooting.
