KIEV, Jan. 10 (Xinhua) -- Ukraine exported some 40.2 million tons of grain in 2016, worth 6.075 billion U.S. dollars, the State Fiscal Service said Tuesday.
The crop sales accounted for 16.7 percent of the country's total exports revenues last year, the service said in a report.
In particular, Ukraine has shipped abroad 17.9 million tons of wheat, 17.2 million tons of corn, 4.8 million tons of barley and some 300,000 tons of other crops, it said.
In 2016, China was ranked Ukraine's largest corn importer, accounting for about 16 percent of the total maize exports, and the third-largest barley importer with an exports share of 6.2 percent.
In 2015, Ukraine exported 6.064 billion dollars worth of grain. Enditem
