SARAJEVO, Jan. 6 (Xinhua) -- Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) issued an orange alert on Friday for Jan. 6 to 8 due to low temperatures and the possibility of strong winds in the country.

Low temperatures were expected across the country, with strong winds in Herzegovina and western Bosnia, and temperatures on Saturday to drop to minus 24 degrees Celsius in the mountains, said the Federal Hydrometeorological Institute.
