BEIJING, 1.5 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 5.6 on the Richter scale jolted 41km ENE of Iwaki, Japan at 2017-01-04 17:53:20 GMT on Wed (2017-01-05 01:53:20 Beijing Time), the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 37.1333 degrees north latitude and 141.3411 degrees east longitude.
