HONG KONG, Jan. 4 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 7.2 on the Richter scale jolted 227km SW of Nadi, Fiji at 21:52:27 GMT on Tuesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 19.5 degrees south latitude and 176.2 degrees east longitude. Enditem
