LONDON, Dec. 30 (Xinhua) -- A driver and 16 adult passengers were injured as a coach came off the slip road in Oxfordshire early Friday morning, the South Central Ambulance Service has confirmed.
The coach, operated by the Oxford Bus Company, crashed off the road amid thick fog, which also presented challenges to the emergency services getting to the scene, the Service said in a statement.
The driver and the passengers had sustained a variety of minor injuries, including cuts, bruises, broken bones, and all of them were taken to a local hospital, according to the Service.
The yellow "be aware" fog warning has been issued, and a large part of southern England was covered by heavy fog on Friday, leading to low visibility. Enditem
