NAY PYI TAW, Dec. 21 (Xinhua) -- The Joint Coordinating Body (JCB) for Peace Process of Myanmar has allocated funds into four sectors provided by international donors, Myanmar News Agency reported Wednesday.

The four sectors are ceasefire, negotiation and dialogue, peace supporting development and peace making of the National Reconciliation and Peace Center (NRPC).

State Counselor Aung San Suu Kyi, who is also chairperson of the JCB and NRPC, pledged to be fair and effective when the JCB carries out peace process plan, stressing the need to take a pragmatic approach when drawing up plans and to coordinate with donors so that they can continue their contributions to the necessary sectors.

Suu Kyi suggested taking the local donors into consideration apart from international donors as the second priority.

She also emphasized the importance of ensuring transparency and minimizing loss and wastage when the JCB manages the international assistance.

The JCB, besides being led by Aung San Suu Kyi, also includes seven other representatives from the government and eight from both signatory and non-signatory armed groups to the Nationwide Cease fire Accord (NCA).

Meanwhile, Myanmar is arranging to hold national-level political dialogues in December-January with regional dialogues to be launched first.

The regional national political dialogues between the government, armed groups and political parties are set to be held in Kayin state, Tanintharyi region and Nay Pyi Taw Councils which are deemed to be ready to host the dialogues.

The preliminary meetings for the national political dialogues will follow during the two months and the government is working with the Kayin National Union (KNU), Kayin National Liberated Area (KNLA) and the Democratic Kayin Buddhist Army (DKBA) for the dialogues.

The outcome of the dialogue will be submitted to the Second Panglong Peace Conference in next February in accordance with the NCA.
