HONG KONG, Dec.20 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 5.5 on the Richter scale jolted 28km WNW of Santa Monica, Philippines at 20:44:40 GMT on Monday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 59.87 km, was initially determined to be at 10.1595 degrees north latitude and 125.8225 degrees east longitude.
