PRAGUE, Dec. 9 (Xinhua) -- Czech police on Friday said they detained a group of four drug traffickers for organizing exports of hemp and cocaine to Switzerland.
Police said cooperating with Swiss police, they succeeded in documenting four exports of 3 kg of hemp and 50 grams of cocaine to Switzerland.
Each member of the group now faces up to 18 years in prison. The four drug traffickers were detained at the end of November, police added.
Vlasta Suchankova, regional police spokeswoman, said the mastermind of the group, 38, was prosecuted for the theft of cars in the past and spent seven years in Czech prisons from 1997. The probe continues and further accusations may be made.
