BEIJING, Nov. 15 (Xinhua) -- China has kicked off its 11th round of anti-corruption inspections as graft-busters deployed by central authorities have been dispatched to all 27 target state and party organs by Tuesday.

The new inspections will scrutinize Party committees of 27 top-level judicial organs, government agencies, institutions, and state media organizations, including the Supreme People's Court, the Supreme People's Procuratorate, the Party School of the CPC Central Committee, China Central Television and the Red Cross Society of China.

Inspection teams will also re-examine the work of Beijing, Chongqing, Guangxi and Gansu.

During a 2-month stint at each of their designated target units, inspectors will mainly focus on shortcomings in the implementation of Party rules and discipline, anti-corruption work, and promotion of Party officials.

The CPC began routinely sending teams to oversee the performance of officials in 2003, and the practice was formally written into the Party's Constitution later. Enditem
