JOHANNESBURG, Nov. 10 (Xinhua) -- The Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE) closed firmer on Thursday in broad-based gains as volatile global markets continued to rebound after the initial shock of Donald Trump's unexpected victory in the U.S. presidential race.
Spot gold was 0.36 percent down at 1,272.66 U.S. dollars an ounce after the metal could not hold on to firmer levels above 1,300 dollars following Trump's victory.
The all share was up 1.01 percent and the blue-chip top 40 added 1.19 percent. Enditem
