NEW DELHI, Oct. 13 (Xinhua) -- Indian government has approved a pact with Hungary for cooperation in water management.
Both countries will carry out exchanges of scientific delegations and experts in the field of water resources development and management, according to an official statement.
This is the first such agreement between the two countries.
India has vast water resources. However water supply gaps due to temporal and spatial distribution are to be bridged by interlinking the rivers.
