ZIVINICE, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sept. 8 (Xinhua) -- Police forces from the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) held an anti-terrorism exercise here on Thursday, some 120 km northeast of capital city Sarajevo.
The exercise, named "Quick Response 2016", was jointly organized by the interior ministry and the police administration of FBiH.
"This is one of two regular annual exercises, which aims to show coordination, equipment, and training at various levels of police authorities in the FBiH," said BiH Presidency Chairman Bakir Izetbegovic after watching the exercise.
The exercise showed that police are very well equipped and well-coordinated, added Izetbegovic.
The director of the FBiH police, Dragan Lukac, stressed that police forces were qualified, trained, and equipped to be able to perform any task.
The exercise was open to the public, allowing hundreds of BiH citizens to watch along with government officials from various departments.
In accordance with the Dayton Agreement, BiH is made up of two entities, the FBiH and the Republika Srpska. Enditem
