MUMBAI, Sept. 2 (Xinhua) -- Indian markets opened higher Friday despite cautions ahead of U.S. job report and the long weekend due to the coming Ganesh Chaturthi festival.
The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex opened at 28,509.61, 86.13 points or 0.3 percent up from the previous close of 28,423.48.
