WARSAW, Aug. 29 (Xinhua) ---- Polish Prime Minister Beata Szydlo Monday met with unionists and employers' organizations for talks on the effects of Britain's departure from the EU and future relations with Britain.

Before the meeting, Szydlo said the issues to be regulated between the EU and Britain included the free flow of persons, trade relations, scientific cooperation and Britain's share in the EU budget.

Britain's departure from the EU is a process that will surely have impact on Poland and its domestic economy, government spokesman Rafal Bochenek said after the talks.

In connection with this, Szydlo opened a series of public consultations, which were planned to help prepare Poland's proposals for Brexit negotiations.

In a historic referendum on June 23, Britain voted to leave the EU after 43 years in the bloc.
