YANGON, Aug. 9 (Xinhua) -- A total of 310 people were killed and 1,684 people injured in road accidents across the country in July, official media reported Tuesday.
Of the 1,106 road accident cases nationwide during the month, most occurred in Yangon region with 218 cases, followed by Mandalay region with 170 cases.
Mandalay region topped with 64 deaths while there were 54 deaths in Yangon region, followed by Sagaing region with 36 deaths.
