BANGKOK, Aug. 9 (Xinhua) -- The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) index Tuesday moved up 5.95 points, or 0.39 percent to close at 1,548.21 points.
Some 12.85 billion shares worth 69.83 billion baht (about 2.00 billion U.S. dollars) changed hands.
