TOKYO, July 19 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar changed hands in the lower 106 yen zone early Tuesday morning in Tokyo.
At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 106.13-14 yen compared with 106.11-21 yen in New York at 5 p.m. Monday. The Tokyo market was closed Monday due to a national holiday.
The euro fetched 1.1069-1069 dollars and 117.48-52 yen against 1.1070-1080 dollars and 117.52-62 yen in New York late Monday afternoon.
