TOKYO, July 7 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar changed hands around the 101 yen line in early deals in Tokyo on Thursday, marginally lower than levels seen overnight in New York.
At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 101.10-13 yen compared with 101.25-35 yen in New York and 100.97-99 yen at 5 p.m. on Wednesday in Tokyo.
The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1097-1097 dollars and 112.18-19 yen against 1.1093-1103 dollars and 112.41-51 yen in New York and 1.1064-1065 dollars and 111.71-75 yen in late trade on Wednesday afternoon in Tokyo.
