Jordan condemns Istanbul's terrorist attack

AMMAN, June 29 (Xinhua) -- Jordan on Wednesday condemned the terrorist attack that targeted Istanbul's main airport and killed dozens of civilians.

Jordan's Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh condemned the terrorist attack and said a Jordanian national was among the fatalities.

The minister also stressed the need for continued international efforts to uproot terrorism.

Labeling the attack as "cowardly," the minister said Jordan will continue to fight terrorism.

Also on Wednesday, King Abdullah II of Jordan sent a cable of condolences to Turkish President Receb Erdogan in which he voiced support to Turkey and condemned the attack at Attaturk airport.

On Tuesday, three suicide bombers attacked the airport with machine guns and then blew themselves up, killing at least 41 people. Enditem
