CHICAGO, July 31 (Xinhua) -- Automotive supplier Denso announced on Monday to invest 75.5 million U.S dollars and increase more than 130 employees to its regional headquarters and a satellite office in U.S.

The Japan-based company will spend most of the 75 million dollars over the next three years to expand its North American regional headquarters in Southfield of Michigan State, according to the company's statement.

Denso officials plan to expand and renovate the research and development facilities there and create 120 employees.

The rest money, about 500,000 dollars, will be spent in Dublin of Ohio state, to renovate a 10,000-square-foot satellite office where Denso's research and development teams work on power train and infotainment tech, among other things.

"This is the first in a line of investments to create the future of mobility by bringing in top talent and fostering our culture of innovation," Kenichiro Ito, CEO of Denso International America Inc., said in the statement.
